I’ve been shooting weddings all over North Carolina since I graduated from UNC’s Photojournalism school in 2005. I love shooting weddings because I love capturing the joy and love that seem boundless at these events.

In 2022, I shut down Whitmeyer Photography after being in business for 16 years to focus on caring for my then two-year-old daughter. Even though I no longer run a wedding photography business or do this work full-time, I thoroughly enjoy second shooting and associate shooting.

GEAR LIST:

During the ceremony/portraits, I generally shoot with two camera bodies. During less busy times of the day, I go down to one camera.
